At Master Class by Chef Kris Klein, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. If you no longer wish to have an account with us or want your personal information removed from our systems, you may request data deletion using the methods outlined below.
1. What Data Will Be Deleted?
Upon a successful deletion request, we will permanently remove the following:
- Profile Information: Your name, email address, bio, and profile picture.
- LMS Progress: Your course enrollments, lesson progress, quiz scores, and certificates earned.
- Community Data: Your forum posts, comments, and private messages (where applicable).
2. What Data We May Retain
Please note that for legal, tax, and audit purposes, we are required to retain certain information related to financial transactions:
- Order History: Records of your purchases and invoices must be kept for [7 years / according to your local law] to comply with tax regulations.
- Legal Compliance: We may retain data necessary to prevent fraud or resolve active disputes.
3. How to Request Deletion
Option A: Automated Deletion (Recommended)
If you are logged in, you can initiate an automated deletion request by visiting your [Account Settings > Privacy] page and clicking “Request Account Closure.”
Option B: Manual Request
If you cannot access your account, please send an email to [Your Support Email Address] with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.”
- To protect your security, we will require you to verify your identity via the email address associated with the account before we process the deletion.
4. Processing Time
Once a request is verified, we will process the deletion within [30 days]. You will receive a final confirmation email once the process is complete.
Warning: Data deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted, your course progress, certificates, and access to purchased materials cannot be recovered.
